Adventure

My kids were the theme from "How To Train a Dragon" this year and they looked fabulous.  They had masks with their costumes, but since you can't wear them to school and they were really ugly I decided to paint their faces.  They had a fun Halloween with tons of candy and great friend to go with.  Until next year, who knows what they will be. 

I got a PR on this half marathon, for those of you that don't know what that means, its a personal best.  I finished in 1:32.  I was happy with that.  It was a very cold start and I decided to dress up this year as a smurf.  I was actually able to see a lot of high school friends too, which made it fun.  The past 2 years I haven't dressed up, so I did for fun this year.  Josh and the kids came down to see me finish, but we had to leave quick because Kaehler had a football game.  It was a fun race and lots of people.  I actually finished third in my division and the race had almost 4,000 runners, so that wasn't too bad.  Can't wait for next year. 

I had our annual HOLT Halloween party at my house again this year and it was a big success.  All the kids were dressed up and we had quesadillas and lots of treats, but then it is Halloween.  Luckily, it was still nice outside so the kids were able to play outside.  Everyone hung out and visited and had a great time. 

 CHRIS YOUNG!  JASON ALDEAN! Recently, Josh and I went to the Jason Aldean concert.  It was so fun to get out and go sing and dance.  We had a blast and he was really good.  One of our favorite things to do is go to concerts.  It is pretty much what we do for a date.  Can't wait for the next one.  Not sure what it will be, but I love going.
