Adventure

Well, last weekend I did a 10K called the Linda Buttars Fun Run Memorial run, it is one that Josh sponsors with his practice. Needless to say, I did really good and took 1st as the overall winner in all the women. I was shocked myself, but I was really proud too. I was pushing to be the first woman across the finish line, so I guess at 32 you can still win something. It was a lot of fun and I even got a trophy. Josh, the kids, and I did the one mile walk after too. What a great way to start a Saturday morning.

Today we went to Kiddie Kandids for pictures and yes with triplets and three year olds it is very hard and very challenging. All I want is all of them to look without raising and arm or leg. Let me tell you it trying for me and the photographer. I really try for the best I can get, but it gets tough. So this is the best we did and yes they were pretty good. If you ever do pictures with your kids, the best advice I can give you is to be the first one there if you can't make an appointment and even if you can make an appointment, it is most likely they will not be on time. Josh got a new toy and here it is. I am not sure what to think yet, just be sure to wear your helmet.

The triplets finally turned three on Monday the 14th. They had a party with Elmo decorations and lots of fun presents. I can't believe they are three already. It seems like time goes by so fast. We are sad to see them get big so fast. They are so full of life and so much fun. They all got a new scooter and a three wheeler. What a birthday. Now they have plenty to do all summer long. Josh's sister, Leslie, came by for some dinner and cake. They thought it was fun to have her here. She is always such a trooper. Happy Birthday and we love you. The kids just love each other. Well, I can't say all of the time, but most of the time they get along.

Last Monday night, Josh and I got a babysitter and went to the Gwen Stefani concert and had a blast. Of course, I go to get some pictures and my battery was dead, just my luck, but that is what I get for always using it on my kids. I bought the tickets for Josh for Easter and he wasn't too sure about it, but ended up having a blast. It was totally worth it. She was awesome. It has been a long time since we have both been to a concert, so I thought it was time.

Here are some pictures from Josh's office in West Jordan, which has been open for two years in August. It is a beautiful office with all the latest features. He has worked really hard to get this far and is doing great. Awesome job JOSH!

To all you runners out there, not fun to have knee surgery. This is my second time having knee surgery on the same knee with the same surgery. I tore my meniscus, so I thought I better get it done before the summer. It is doing good, but still hard to bend. I want to exercise so bad, but know I can't. Hopefully my knees can last a while longer and my left one won't have any problems. Not fun, but had to be done.

We thought it would be fun to go Thanksgiving Point and get some pictures with all the pretty tulips. So everyone got dressed up and off we went. It was really beautiful. You can't believe the amount of flowers that were there. The kids loved it and we got some cute pictures. What a way to spend a Saturday morning. It started to cloud up a little, but we were lucky and didn't get rained on. Well, worth the time and effort getting there.
