Fathers Day!

Image
I made him close his eyes, because we had just back from being out of town, so I didn't wrap anything.   He was trying them on to be for a sure fit! For Fathers Day, were actually coming home from St. George and so I didn't get a chance to wrap his presents, so I had the kids put them on and made him close his eyes.  He was really excited to get water skis because last year when we went we only had kids skis, so now he can ski this year making it a lot more fun for him.  I think he had a fun Fathers Day and we appreciate and love him so much for all he does.  Love you!

Utah Valley Marathon

Its only 2:30 am and I'm ready to leave!  At the finish line, YES!!!! Only a few blisters.  This was the worst ever!  Finished in 3:27!!!!  My cute kiddos there to cheer me on.   He's always there to cheer me on!  I got a shirt because I qualified for the BOSTON! I did the Utah Valley Marathon and loved it.  It was a beautiful run with lots of pretty scenery.  We started at 6 am, which meant I had to be on the bus at 3:30 am, which made for an early start since I had to drive to Provo, 45 minutes away.  The weather was perfect and not hot at all.  I was so happy to see my family at the end cheering me on and I wanted to cry because I was so happy with my time at 3:27 because I qualified for the Boston, now of which I am scared to death to do, if I get in.  My kids were such good sports with Josh to come and watch me that we took them to Seven Peaks after, even though my legs made it ...

Herriman Rodeo!

What would a rodeo be with out Slushies!  The BULL riding! We love going to the Herriman Rodeo.  We recently went with Josh's brother's family and had a lot of fun.  The kids love to just hang out and walk around.  Their favorite part is the bulls at the very end.  Taeson really gets into it.

The DIRTY DASH 2011!

I had so much fun at the Dirty Dash and what a way to change it up.  I thought it would be fun not to do the usual runs and go do the dirty dash 3 mile obstacle course in the MUD!  I was in the first heat of the day and started at 9:00 am and finished it in about 37 minutes, which wasn't easy.  As the day went on and we watched, waiting for our kids to do it, it just got muddier and muddier.  Trust me when I say, if you are first you are not going to be nearly as muddy if you are last.  It was not easy, being that we had to jump haystacks, over wood walls, through pipes, over tires, over nets, down a 175 slip and slide and through a mud pit.  They definitely make you tired. Later, when it was my kids turn it was a mess.  They had so much fun doing it and as you can see were very muddy.  They loved it though and I'm glad they did it.  What a great Mom I am to let my kids get so dirty.  Of course, we threw their clothes a...
