My Brothers Wedding

Image
My brother finally got married this last Saturday in St. George, UT. He married his beautiful fiance Rachel in the St. George Temple. It was a lot of fun, but a very long day for the kids. Here are a few pictures of me and my sister with my brother and a few more of the family. It was a cold day, but turned out really nice. Congratulations Cody and Rachel.

New House

Image
They finally started digging the hole for our new house. We are renting right now, but are building in Juniper Point in Herriman. We are so excited, but not much done yet because it has been so cold and the ground is frozen. We will keep you updated.

Santa Claus

Image
Brekken and Kaehler couldn't wait to see Santa this year. The triplets were scared to death and didn't want anything to do with him. They cried the whole time and would not even go close to him. The joys of Christmas.

Festival of Trees Performance

Image
The girls performed at the Festival of Trees this year and had so much fun. They actually did it without crying and without standing there. Their song was "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas." They were so cute.

Tuachan Christmas Festival

Image
We recently went to St. George for fun and went to Tuachan to see the lights and Santa. Here a few of the fun things we saw while we were there. Taeson loves Santa as you can see (not)!

Hannah Montana Concert

Image
Just a little glimpse of the Hannah Montana concert. It was so much fun and Brekken thought she was going to die.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We want to wish everyone a happy and Merry Christmas this holiday season!

HANNAH MONTANA

Yes, I took Brekken to the Hannah Montana concert and she was so excited. I didn't tell her until the day of the concert. She thought we were going shopping with her friend. It was really a lot of fun and plus she is going to be Hannah Montana for Halloween. I can't post pictures now because I don't have my own computer, but we are moving into a renter house next week and so I will start up again. As Hannah Montana says, nobodys perfect.

Building!

Well, we are now going to build a house, so I am temporarily out of commission on my blog until we get somewhere for a few months before our house is finished. I have so many things to tell too. So I will keep you updated. Just a few things to tell: 1. Kaehler got a new belt in Karate, he is now a high yellow. 2. Paezlei is doing good and got her cast off and now has a boot. 3. We are getting ready for Halloween and had our pictures taken and you can find them at the website: http://www.aprilriggs.com/ and then just click on children and you will find them at the end of all the pictures. 4. Josh went to a laser course in Las Vegas last week and is leaving on Halloween for a course in Seattle for a few days. He is busy, busy. 5. Kaehler lost his front tooth finally. 6. Teigyn had her first small cavity filled by Josh which took a lot of patience and time to get her for finally relax and realize that it wasn't going to hurt since he was using a laser. 7. Just trying to find the perf...

THE MOVE!!!

Image
We are currently moving and so I haven't been able to blog much, but will get back as asap.

BROKEN LEG!

Last night Paezlei broke her tibia (leg). It was so sad. She just couldn't control her crying and made me want to melt. She had a bike tire run over her shin and it blew up like a ball. I immediately left Josh with the kids and Brekken and I rushed her to Alta View Hospital. Where she cried the whole way and for about an hour when we were there until she fell asleep and then they had to give her an IV which woke her up and she cried more. They did x-rays and it was broken, so they sedated her and put it back in place and then a splint. Of course, me being a wimp when it comes to medical things unless it is on me I almost fainted and felt like such a horrible MOM. I just wish it was ME and not her. You love your kids so much that it hurts to see them in pain. We finally left after three hours at 11:30 pm and had to stop at Walgreens for some Lortab. She also had to go potty so we went in to use the bathroom, which was treat. We got home and Josh was so happy to see her. ...

PROVO HALF MARATHON

Image
Last weekend I did the Provo Half Marathon and loved it. It was beautiful. It went ride by Bridal Veil Falls and through the canyon. What a beautiful run. I did it with two of Josh's sisters, Leslie in the middle and Heather on the right. I was so excited to finish 13.1 miles in 1 hour and 35 minutes. We actully were celebrating Josh's moms birthday(she died two years ago) which was August 11th. We did the run and then went swimming with the kids, had a barbecue and then went to her grave to let 58 balloons go. What a way to remember such a great lady.

FIRST DANCE CLASS!

Image
Paezlei and Teigyn went to their first dance. They were so excited they wore their dance shoes all day. It was so much fun to watch and they really do steal the show when it comes to performance time. What a couple of ballerinas.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BREKKEN AND KAEHLER

Image
Brekken and Kaehler celebrated their 7th birthday on August 7th. It was a lot of fun. We had a darth vader and cinderella party. As you can see we decorated for both. It was a fun day at school with lots of treats and then at home we had pizza and they got new bikes, which was a long time coming. I don't think they can ride them enough.

LARRY H.. MILLER RACEWAY

Image
We decided to go to the raceway to see the race cars after church a couple of Sundays ago and boy was it loud. The kids loved it and it was to actully see some real races.

My Little Lawnmower

Image
Taeson just loves to hold on and follow Dad with the lawnmower. I thought it was cute.

LAKE MARY

Image
We decided one Saturday morning to hike up about 2 miles to Lake Mary at Brighton ski resort. It was a lot of fun and the kids did great. It was beautiful and perfect weather. Then we decided to go swimming to American Fork because the kids did such a great job. It was a fun Saturday.

1st DAY OF SECOND GRADE

Image
Here we are for the first day of second grade, which started on July 25th for three weeks, but now they are out for three weeks because we are on year round. They really like it and they have a brand new teacher, Mrs. Peay.
