What a Day!

Image
I hadn't had pictures of my kids together since Valentines Day so I thought it was time and even though I am not that impressed it is what you get with five very uncooperative children. You might not be able to tell from these pictures, but I was there for an hour and a half just trying to get everyone to say cheese or something like it. Well, as you see they still did a good job and I love em.

Monday Night Baseball

Image
Yesterday, we decided to go the Bees baseball game since it was Family night and we hadn't gone yet this year. It was a lot of fun, but very hot as you can see I am sweating all over the place. Josh even won a t-shirt for doing a survey when you walk in. What are the odds, no one ever wins those things, but I guess we were proved wrong. He exchanged it for a size for Kaehler and a ball for Taeson. We got everyone some hot dogs, drinks, and popcorn, good dinner don't ya think. We stayed for 7 innings with the Bees up by one, but could tell the kids were getting done. On our way out we ran into some old friends from high school, the Cannons, which wa a lot of fun to see. All in all, a fun family night.

Crash!

I think my kids can crash just about anywhere when they are tired. I thought you might enjoy these few spots they just couldn't resist.

Pioneer Day!

What form. Brekken can't get enough of the diving board now. Kaehler off the high dive, no fear in him. I will leave this one to your imagination. Boys will be boys! Josh's sister Leslie and her fiance Jaelin My sister in law, Julie and her little boy Ledger watching fireworks. Kaehler and Tanner watching in dismay. So we were trying to find out something to do for fun on Pioneer Day here in Utah, so we called all of Josh's brothers and sisters to see what they were doing and ended up going to his brother's house in Syracuse, to of course swim and then have an old fashioned barbecue. Josh's younger sister, Leslie and her fiance, came too and it turned out to be a lot of fun. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows by the fire and then of course some fireworks of which little ones loved even if they were small.

Jeremy Ranch

She found quite a few friends along the way. This one just wanted someone to pet it. Last week, we took our dog up to Jeremy Ranch where they have a dog lake. We always want to take her swimming, but don't have any lakes near our house, so it was up to Park City for a little fun. She couldn't get enough of it and she loves to swim. She was also having fun retrieving all the other dogs balls too, while making some friends. She was pretty worn out after the kids kept taking turns throwing it out, which was a lot with five to throw the ball. Needless to say, she got her exercise for the day.

THE POLICE/AKA STING

Image
This weekend, Josh and I went on the best date ever. We went to see The Police in concert at the Usana Amphitheater or Sting as you will. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been too. His opening band was Elvis Costello, which was really good and then of course all the songs by Police. What was so neat about it was the screen on stage was like he was standing right in front of you because it was so crisp and clear, not to mention the sound which was just as good. Both Josh and I grew up listening to Sting and I think we may just have all his cds. What a way to spend a night and well worth the babysitting money of which the kids can't wait to have her come back.
