Christmas Day 2008!

Image
All in order! I gave Josh Guitar Hero, yeh! Josh snowplowing again! What to do! Christmas Dinner! Sparkling apple juice, just to make sure there are no discrepancies. Christmas morning is always eventful at o ur house. The excitement is always so much fun. The kids just love it. We of course have them stand in chronological order down the stairs, which of course seems like forever to them. They get so excited, they always end up opening up each others presents. It is so much fun to watch them and then when all is over, the clean up begins. This year, we were not able to go to Josh's Dad's house for omelette's and presents because there was over a foot of snow on our streets and of course the snow plow came around our area, but not down our streets until about 6:3o, so we stayed home and shoveled our driveway about three times and had nice turkey dinner in our dining room, which the kids think is so much fun. It was a fun Christmas and always seems to go by too fast,...

Christmas Eve at Grams & Grandpa Holts!

Image
The nativity scene. Brekken was Mary! The lamb and cow. As a tradition, we always go to Josh's Dad's house for Christmas Eve. The kids love it and we have a lot of fun visiting with family. This year we had a Mexican theme to change it up, so we had all sorts of Mexican food and then the kids did a pinata out in the garage. Later the kids all got to open their Christmas pajamas and do a small play of the nativity. It was short and quick, but a fun way to remember what Christmas is about. Thanks for a fun time Grams and Grandpa.

Bobcat Award!

Kaehler earned his Bobcat pin a few weeks ago, along with a few patches and the belt loop for skiing. That was an easy one for him. He is on his way to getting them all. Way to go Kaehler!

Office Christmas Party!

Image
Katie, Megan and their boyfriends. Sharon and her fiance. Marcie and Shayla with her boyfriend. Josh, me, and Ashley and her husband Tony. Josh decided to have his office Christmas party at our clubhouse this year. Everyone brought something to share and we provided the meats, drinks, and desserts. It was a lot of fun and eve ryone was able to make it. We wanted everyone to get in the hot tub, but no one was brave enough to bring their swimsuits. It was nice to be able to mingle and visit with each other without the crowdedness of a restaurant. Thanks to all his staff and all their hard work.

SCROOGE!

Image
SCROOGE! We thought it might be fun to take the kids to see a play in Midway at the arts center. They were putting on The Christmas Carol and might I say they did an excellent job. They are hoping to raise money for a better stage with all the bells and whistles, but for what they had they did an excellent job and you couldn't of asked for a better Scrooge. He was awesome and the kids really got into it. Later, we went to dinner and then stayed over night in Heber . The kids love it and we were the only ones at the pool and hot tub, so it was like our very own. We love to get away to Park City/ Heber to spend the night every once in a while and it is far enough to stay overnight, but not too far home

Christmas School Programs!

Image
We had our annual school Christmas programs this last week and all was well. Taeson, Teigyn and Paezlei had a fun musical program and Brekken and Kaehler got to sing a few songs with the third grade. All in all they did a great job. Fun times and how fast they disappear. A little music with their singing! Hi MOM! All ready to go. What a cute class!

Look who came to the DENTIST today?

Christmas Recital!

What a poser! These are some cute DANCERS! Their Christmas Medals! Enjoying the SHOW! The girls had their Christmas Dance recital a week ago and did a fabulous job. They were really excited and all of them got to perform two dances, which makes it a little more fun for us. I am so proud of them and we really enjoy watching them do their best. Oh the memories it brings back, when I was a kid. I really truly miss it. It was also nice only having to keep two kids quiet during the show. After the show, we went to dinner with our friends, which was a lot of fun. The kids got to play and we got to visit
