CHRISTMAS DAY!

Image
Do you think Santa came! Lined up youngest to oldest. This is just what he wanted Santa to bring. His motorcycle a little smaller. The brace faces! A very big surprise! He was really sick today. Christmas morning was very eventful as usual. We started at about 7:30 a.m., so not too early. The kids were so excited and had a blast opening all their presents. We had to take breaks now and then to clean up a little and get them to slow down. Josh, of course, gave me a big surprise. He gave me enough money to go and get Lasik surgery. I was very surprised and had no idea. He is always doing something surprising. What a sweet hubby. He was sick almost all day, but managed to come and watch the kids open presents, but them slept most of the day. We hung out all day and of course I was cleaning up well into the afternoon, but that is what Christmas is about and I am sure I will keep finding things in the weeks to come. It was a wonderful Christmas and lot of fun. It makes me a little ...

Christmas Eve 2009!

Image
Grandpa and the girls! Miss Teigyn! Cousin Olivia and Brekken! Paezlei trying the pinata. Taeson ready to go. Brekken swinging hard. It's right there. Pinata hat! New PJ's. Olivia, Grandpa, and Brekken Every Christmas Eve we go to Josh's Dad's house for dinner and games. Some of Josh's family is there while others are at in-laws houses. We had a Mexican dinner and then the kids all got to hit a pinata in the garage. Later, they opened their new pajamas from Grandpa and Grams and hung out with the cousins. The adults played a game and then we just hung out and visited with family. A fun night for the kids and then a fun late night for us waiting for Santa to come.

All Aboard the Polar Express!

Image
Aboard the train. Taeson was a little under the weather. Santa gave each kid a bell! Mrs. Claus! We took the kids to ride the Polar Express up in Heber Valley. They all loved it. We all got hot chocolate and a cookie and then they read the story the Polar Express and sang christmas carols. While we sang, we waited for Santa to aboard and bring each one of the kids a christmas bell. They had elves on the train to help and find out what each child wanted for Christmas. It was a slow ride, about 15 miles an hour up to the North Pole, but a lot of fun. After riding the Polar Express, we went to dinner in Park City and then stayed overnight at a hotel and let the kids go swimming and watch movies. The next day we did some Christmas shopping and hung out in the bitter cold, but a fun memory to remember.
