I DID IT.

Image
Mile 16 where Josh showed up with the kids. I had to sit down for a minute because my legs felt like jello. My support team. Crossing the finish line. The kids are following me the last .2 miles of the race. Waiting patiently by the finish line. I did it. Brekken catching all the footage. I can't wait to do another one, no I really mean it. It was hot and tired. I did the Provo Marathon this weekend and yes I was a bit nervous. Josh said I would do great, but I still couldn't sleep all night even if I did go to bed at 9:00 because I had to get up at 4:00 a.m. to be there on time. It was actually a really pretty run and I did better than I thought. By mile 23 I was done, but knew only 3 miles left and I could do it. I finished in 3 hours and 36 minutes, of which is better than I thought. So I was proud of myself. It was really fun to see my family there too. Josh actually found me at mile 16 in the Riverwoods shopping center. I was shocked to see him drving towards me...

First day of 3rd grade

Image
We have to show off our backpacks. Brekken and Kaehler started at their new charter school, Providence Hall, this last week. They have to wear red, white, or blue and in uniform style, but they don't mind. They had a really fun first day and a lot of their friends from our house in South Jordan are going to the same school. They are however in different classes, but both have friends in each class so they don't mind. They love it, but I still can't believe they are in the third grade. Before I know it, they will be in junior high. Oh what a challenge that will be.

First day of Preschool.

Well, they have officially started preschool, 3 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. They were so excited and couldn't stop asking me all day when it was time to go. The first day was a little hard because Paezlei and Teigyn had to have thinking time. Teigyn said it was because she wanted to stay home with me and so she was mad. Any way, they did a great job and love it. I can't believe all my kids are in school now, but wow the many things I can get done in that amount of time is great and then I don't have to lug them around to do it. I love you guys. You all look adorable.

Capitol Reef

Josh and Jaelan decided to get in the freezing water. Hey, I made it to the end. Josh at the water holes. He is always teasing me, but I love him to death. Rick and Coleen made it to the top. What a smile. Me and my nephew Ashton. Surprise Grandpa and Happy Birthday. Josh decided to jump in the freezing cold water and would have thrown me in, but I had stitches. Taeson, Kaehler, and Garrett Grandpa teasing Taeson. Dad getting Taeson wet. Me, Leslie, Heather, her son Ashton, and Beth. Josh's sisters. Calf Creek Waterfall. Captiol Reef. For Josh's Dad's birthday, his wife Coleen surprised him by having us all go up to Capitol Reef to stay for the weekend. He had no idea when we all showed up to say happy birthday and say we were staying for the weekend. We did a 6 mile hike, 3miles up and 3 miles back to Calf Creek Waterfall. It was beautiful when we got there, but getting there was a different story. I carried Paezlei or Teigyn up and down the mountain the who...
