St. George Marathon 2011!

Image
It's 3:30 in the morning!  It was really hot!  A good race!   My Mom got the back engraved with my time.  She is so awesome.   Thanks MOM!   Signs my kids made for me!   My brother and his wife!   My sisters husband, Connor, his son, and my DAD!   My Mom and Dad!   My support! This was my first year to do the St. George Marathon and it was a lot of work, but a fun race.  I would have done better if the weather wouldn't have been so hot, but at a finish of 3:30, I'll take it.  I was a little heat struck at the end and couldn't find the water, but the sweet national guard guys brought me some and a bag of ice.  My whole family was there to support me at the end, except for my sister who had to work.  I would love to do it again, but maybe with cooler temperatures.  Thanks to all my family and to Josh for always being there to tell me good job!

Triathamom!

I was actually 3rd OVERALL!   WOW!   1st in my Division! I did the first year of theTriathamom in Herriman.  It was so much easier to do this TRI in a pool, than in a lake.  It was a fun race and the swag was awesome.  We got a necklace that we can actually wear for finishing the race.  My kids all came to see me at the end because they all had soccer in the morning.  I finished 3rd overall out a few hundred people and was first in my division.  That very rarely happens, but I was happy to see I did so well.  I hope to do this one again.

Rascal Flatts!

YES, that is the stage right behind me.   Justin Moore!   Sara Evans!   We are in the Dog Pound, that's how close we were! All I can say is the Rascal Flatts concert was awesome.  We were right next to the stage and it was the most awesome time ever.  We actually got to touch their hands.  They opened with Justin Moore and Sara Evans who were both fabulous too.  I was so happy to be so close to such a fun band and it was such a fun night out with Josh.  I could listen to the Rascal Flatts all day long, they are that good and they don't have a song that's bad.  I hope I can go again.  I even got one of their picks, how cool is that.
