Teigyns Turn!

Image
She is ready to go! How cute it that. I love my Dad. Lunch time. So last weekend was Teigyn's turn to go with Dad skiing for the first time and she got the hang of it very quickly. Josh even took her to the top of Majestic and she went all the way down with the help of Josh with no fear. She is quite the firecracker and very athletic. She did however get done a lot faster than Taeson, but I think it was because she was wondering what Paezlei was doing at home. She was excited to tell everyone about her trip to the mountain when she got home and of course to give her sister Paezlei a bag of M&M's she got for her at the gas station. Now stay tuned for Paezleis turn in a week or two. She is a little more apprehensive than the rest of them. Way to go Teigyn.

Coldplay Concert Rocks!

Image
Singing in the audience and boy were they surprised . This last weekend, I surprised Josh with tickets to the Coldplay concert and what a show. It was so entertaining and the music was excellent. The arena was almost full with lots of screaming fans. At one point in the show, they ended up in the audience and sang a song in the chairs, wish I would have been in that section but we were of course more in the nose bleed section. Even though we were up pretty high it was still an excellent show and a lot of fun. It was just fun to get away and be out on a date, something we don't do too much of. At the bottom, is a little taste of this fabulous concert.

Caramel Apples!

Image
This is easy! Not sure about this. I think I like it. On Sunday we made caramel apples with the kids, the easy way. You buy a package of caramel pieces and some apples and then in the package comes the caramel slabs, sticks, and wax paper. All you have to do is mold the caramel around the apple and cook it for 5 minutes. It was easy and fun. Not sure how much they liked them, but a fun activity.

Brekken and Kaehler Skiing.

Image
My sweet Brekken. He actually ate that whole chili dog. What a bunch of ski BUMS! Brekken and Kaehler went skiing with Josh this last weekend. The snow was good, but not great yet. They love skiing and this year we bought them helmets because they are quite the hot dogs and if you knew Josh in high school, you know what I mean. They loved it and of course are excited to go again. They have season passes so we will take them as much as we can. They like to take turns going with me and Josh, which is fun for both of us to get away and have some fun.

Taeson's First Time Skiing!

Image
Taeson with his JUMBO hotdog. Now those are some cute BOYS! I'm ready Dad. On the lift they go. Josh took Taeson skiing for the first time and he loved it. All he could talk about for the last week was when he was going to go skiing by himself with his Dad. He actually did really well and can't wait to go again. When they stopped for lunch, he kept saying lets go and had no interest in his lunch. Josh is going to take each one by themselves so he can teach them and have one on one time with them. Josh actually loved it just as much as Taeson did . Hopefully, in a few years, we can all go as a family and hit the slopes together.

Peter Pan!

Image
Peter Pan and Wendy. Captain Hook and Peter Pan. Teigyn, Taeson, Kaehler Paezlei and her friend Erin. Lauren and Brekken. We took the kids to see a production of Peter Pan and I was quite impressed. It was three hours long and the kids were totally involved the entire show. They did an excellent job, not only with the actors, but the scenery as well. We met our friends there from our old neighbors and the kids got to sit by each other. I hope they do another one again because it was totally worth it.

A Little Reminder . . .

Image
This dear sweet Mother has had quite the trial this last week after giving birth to her second son to see him return to his Heavenly Father after only six days. What a trial to have to endure and how precious life really is. Sometimes I think we get caught up in so many things we forget the little things. I know I have and life if so precious. I think his passing has only helped others be inspired to be better people, friends, and neighbors. It helps me remember how precious my children are and how much more I need to hug them everyday and tell them how much I love them. What sweet spirits they are and how fast life can pass up by. My thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time and I wish them all the best in the future. Check out this sweet blog in his rememberance.

Snow Canyon Half Marathon

Image
I was 10th in my division and 20th overall of about 365 women. Here I go on the bus. Waiting! My FAN club. This is about mile 8 or 9. My brother and his wife Rachel My cute, supporting husband. Kaehler ran into the finish with me. I saw some of my friends from South Jordan who did the race, this is DeAnn. A lady wanted to take a picture of my kids and me, how cute is that. My Mom and Dad to support me. This last weekend, we went to St. George so I could run the Snow Canyon half marathon. I couldn't of asked for better weather. It was a little chilly at the start, but warmed up quickly. It was a little more hilly than I thought, but I survived. We ran down Snow Canyon and over to the high school, 13.1 miles. I actually saw three of my friends from my old neighborhood, which was a lot of fun. They were the pink ladies. I ran it in 1 hour and 40 minutes. I might have done better had it not been up and down so much, but a great run. There were about 365 women and 265 men and...
